Over half of Americans believe that Trump is unfit to be President

US President Donald Trump

The Fox News poll was conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R) among 1,017 randomly chosen registered voters nationwide reached on landline and cellphones from September 24-26, 2017.

About 56 percent of the voters polled were more brutal in their assessment, stating that they do not think Trump is fit to be president. 60 percent of Hispanic voters said Trump was not up to the job while 40 percent said he was. But most agreed on one thing-Trump should stop tweeting.

President Donald Trump speaks as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker Paul Ryan listen during a meeting with House and Senate leaders at the White House on June 6.

White voters disapprove by a slimmer margin, with 55 percent disapproval compared to 39 percent approval.

Breaking down the data, there was a profound partisan and gender split over Trump's fitness for office. Governor Ricardo Rossello and Resident Commissioner Jennifer Gonzalez, the island's representative in Congress, have said they intend to seek more than a billion in federal assistance and they have praised the response to the disaster by President Donald Trump, who plans to visit Puerto Rico next week, as well as FEMA Administrator Brock Long.

The moment a little girl steals Prince Harry's popcorn
Emily and Prince Harry then spent time joking with each other, as Harry pulled amusing faces, making her lough out loud. Prince Harry was sitting with friends when their young daughter began taking popcorn from him while he wasn't looking.

The critical findings by Quinnipiac come after a brief upward "blip" in Trump's job approval ratings, with three other polls showing him climbing out of the 30's to a 40 percent thumbs-up rating - "good" by Trump's standards. President Trump is doing more to divide the country than to unite the country, American voters say 60 - 35 percent.

It doesn't seem possible that logic or experience will change the minds of the 75 percent to 80 percent of the GOP who remain in Trump's quarter.

The August 16 national poll found 86% of US voters want to negotiate with North Korea; but most not confident Trump can handle it.

"There is no upside", said assistant director Tim Malloy of the Quinnipiac University Poll.

The July 27 New York City poll found more voters blame Cuomo for poor subways; Cuomo-de Blasio feud hurts city, voters say. By Sept. 26, the president had tweeted criticism of National Football League players 21 different times over the span of three days, according to Yahoo News. The numbers suggest that there is a powerful moral argument that can be made against Trump in 2020 and Republicans in 2018.
