Nancy Pelosi Run Out of Her Own Press Conference By DACA Activists

A Deal on DACA Would Be the Ultimate Test of Trump's Base

Border hawks consider the Democrats' promise of more border security and enforcement to be a "trick" and not substantially different from the so-called "Gang of Eight" bill that collapsed in 2013.

Asked whether the protesters she faced were emblematic of wider Democratic Party concerns about her discussions with Trump, Pelosi said that from a political standpoint, she has no choice. Massive border security would have to be agreed to in exchange for consent. Often those in favor of open borders can be heard referring to Dreamers as "kids" when they are typically adults in their 20s, or even older.

But dozens of young people instead rushed the stage and began chanting, "we are not a bargaining chip" and "all or us or none of us".

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) tries to talk as protesters demonstrate during a news conference on the DREAM act on September 18 in San Francisco.

The advocacy group California Immigrant Youth Justice Alliance later wrote of the disruption that "Pelosi moved forward with the negotiation without consulting immigrant youth and community members who have been frustrated by her lack of support for immigrant justice in California". "Just stop it now!"

After approximately a half-hour of chanting and shouting, when it became clear that the protesters had no intention of relenting, Pelosi was forced to leave the event, effectively bringing it to a close before California Democratic Reps.

When the illegal immigrants swarmed around her and stole the platform, Pelosi was not amused.

Hurricane Jose maintains Category 1 status, winds
As with any weather forecast, and as we have seen with Hurricane Irma, hurricane tracks and intensities can change overnight. Even the GFS, which initially showed Irma headed towards a SC landfall, agrees with the European model about Jose, she said.

This is a win-win for Democrats, who would love to stick it to the racist wing of the GOP by finding a way to keep the Dreamers in the only country they truly know and love. Offering them legal protection while this country finally sorts out its immigration reform mess is an act of compassion and intelligence - these are the kind of hardworking go-getters who already are assets to this country.

Although immigration policy has divided the Republican caucuses in both the House and Senate, House Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) has said he would not demand border wall funding be tied to DREAMer legislation.

When DACA was announced in 2010 by executive action, Barack Obama insisted that it was not amnesty but merely a two-year reprieve and work permit with no guarantee of renewal. The protesters called for reform that gives legal status to all immigrants in the country, not just young people.

There are four other lawsuits filed against Trump over DACA. We demand accountability! Democrats are not the resistance of Trump!

Young Indian nationals in the USA are among the top ten groups eligible to participate in the DACA program. Although the president said Mexico would pay for the wall, Mexican government officials have balked at the idea.

"Stop it!" she chided the illegal aliens. Schumer is the only person in American politics who has a relationship of any kind with Donald Trump that predates Donald Trump's emergence as the leader of an American fascist movement. Crime and the burdens on entitlement programs are vast and Trump should not be blocked by the courts from taking action to defend our sovereignty.
